Hi, I’m Mrinalini. I am a creative technologist specializing in immersive experiences, physical interfaces, and AI-enabled interactions. I build real-time systems using Unity, TouchDesigner, microcontrollers, and depth-sensing hardware, creating installations that blend computation with intuitive, embodied play.

Based in Mumbai, I lead creative tech R&D and interactive brand projects at Kulfi Collective. My work includes large-scale gesture-controlled video walls, storefront motion games, digital spray-can installations, and AR activations embedded within consumer apps. I focus on delivering technically robust and emotionally engaging experiences that merge emerging technology with cultural relevance.

Previously, I worked in New York and Pittsburgh with Hyperquake (Potion) and Deeplocal, contributing to interactive experiences for Illumina, Google, Wendy’s, and other global brands.

I hold an M.S. in Art, Culture and Technology from  the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where I taught graduate courses and conducted research on speculative futures, immersive media, and the social implications of computational systems. I earned my Bachelor’s in Design from the National Institute of Design (NID), where I was a Ford Foundation Fellow.

Across my work, whether a brand installation, a research prototype, or a personal experiment, I explore how emerging technologies can create new forms of participation, storytelling, and sensing in everyday life.
