KULFI KRAWL

The Kulfi Brand Gallery is an 8-screen, gesture-responsive lobby experience that introduces visitors to the breadth of Kulfi’s creative-tech work the moment they step into the studio. Built as a living, interactive portfolio, the installation showcases case studies across Crocs, LEGO, Spotify, Nothing, and more through cinematic motion design and intuitive hand-tracking. Designed as the first experiment on our new multi-screen R&D system, the Brand Gallery sets the creative tone for every client walkthrough and has grown into an evolving platform for future builds, including Kulfi Krawl and Botanical Dreams.

The Ask

For our 8-screen lobby wall, we wanted a fun, instantly recognisable experiment that showcased Kulfi’s creative-tech capabilities and sparked daily team engagement.

The Insight

Lobbies are usually passive. We wanted a living, interactive surface that brings people together – and nothing does that better than a classic game everyone knows.

Our Approach & Strategy

We reimagined the classic Nokia Snake as Kulfi Krawl, a supersized 8-screen lobby game. Guide the Kulfi Smiley, collect flavour power-ups, and climb the shared leaderboard.

Simple to play, fun to compete in, and built for daily drop-in rivalry. A nostalgic classic rebuilt in a Kulfi way that the team keeps coming back to.

Design & Development

A vibrant 8-bit Kulfi world stretched across eight screens, with flavour-based power-ups, walls to avoid, and a colourful ever-growing tail.

The start and game over-screens are bright and colourful with oversized UI and smooth motion graphics.

It is built in Unity with synchronized multi-screen output, modular power-up logic, a real-time leaderboard system, and a game controller input for an arcade feel.

Reception & Impact

From day one, Kulfi Krawl became a battleground for high scores – played during breaks, after work, and fiercely competed over by designers, engineers, and creatives alike.

Highlights

  • High engagement from the team, with x+ score entries on the leaderboard
  • Constant new high-score attempts
